Biography | 
The collective formerly known as “True Players” met on the now defunct community radio station Paradise Radio in the early 1990’s. From there we travelled up and down the country playing and spreading our unique blend of urban music to artist concerts clubs, dances, house parties and carnival events.
However radio continued to be an outlet for our music and although we rarely presented our shows as a collective we endeavoured to keep our spirit alive individually. During the mid nineties we joined Unique FM and presented “Saturday Evening Flavas” where a common feature of the show was live interviews featuring the cream of US & UK R&B acts including Joe, Angie Stone, Destiny’s Child Donell Jones, Anthony Hamilton, Brian McKnight, H-Town, Faith Evans, Monica, Jaheim, Jon B, Usher, Ne-Yo, Musiq Soulchild, Alicia Keys, Vivien Green, Olivia, Maskerade, John Legend, Robin Thicke, Jill Scott, Hil St Soul, Floetry and Plan B to name but a few.
Another feature was the legendary “Ladies time Out” where the listeners were invited to compile 4 of their favourite slow jams for back to back airplay in a dedicated slot on the following week’s show. After well over a decade of this Saturday evening show I felt that it was best to leave for to explore new challenges in 2008.
Now in 2010 we felt the time was right to join London’s leading internet urban radio medium and hope to recreate that Saturday Evening Flava on a Saturday morning, where the emphasis will be to deliver and promote quality R&B music with to a discerning audience. Look out for the odd guest artist popping in for a chat from time to time
