Back in the 1970’s I used to watch my Dad play at house parties God Bless his soul This is where I became inspired to become a DJ. I admired the way in which he used to play music and how he would take pride in his record collection. I used to go to local youth clubs where boys from the area would play music. These boys went on to set up their own sound systems

In 1979 I went to Jamaica where I bought my first record which was Bob Marley's Kaya (Album).
This started off my record collection. I listened to sounds like Rappattack and Funkadelic. My music collection started to gear towards 80’s classic and Rare grooves.

I decided to link up with a friend of mine and form our first sound which was called Platinum Gold.

Later on I joined a sound called Gents Of Distinction

I then met Freddey Gee who introduced me to the Satisfaxion family, I new Ian sweetness before i use to play music at a friends drink up. I was with satisfaxion for 7 years and I have never looked back. But I moved on went to Heart 2 Heart Sound and now I am going solo . I specialise in RnB, slow Jams, 80’s classics and Rare Grooves.and touch of reggae

Hopes for the future: That record companies keep producing good artists, (don’t want to end up with pure remixes when I’m old and grey)
