HI LIFE FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT have been going for over 25yrs. Started in 1979 at 10 years old sparing with Rudy King & Govenor Tiggy not forgetting Sweetie Irie as a MC/DJ on Hawkeye Sound (thanks to my cousin Granty), known then as Rema Sound until the name changed in the mid 80's, playing alongside sounds like Coxsone, Java Hi Power (Rudy, Tiggy), Frontline, Highteous, Stereograph, Jam Down Rocker etc.

Mc/DJing was my passion winning various awards in the early 80's, the most memorable part back then was clashing with Billy Boyo (now a very good friend of mine) in Tavistock Centre in NW10.

My radio career started back in 1982-3 when another family member Bushman (bless Bush) gave me my own show on a station called Traffic Jam radio breakfast (big up R.A.T) run by Jah Son & Lion Yoot.
After it closed down I ventured on to Peoples Fm, big up Vego, when that closed down years later I went to Irie FM where I remained for several years until that unfortunately closed down too. Then I got another call from Bushman who put me on Beat FM in 1995. That's officially when we formed HLFE, Big up A3, Original P & Ratty Boom. That was where I really found my ground, big up Vego again for allowing A3 to play Garage (LOL) because it blew us up in a big way.

After 2-3 years later we were joined by 2 new members, LP & Lady T, playing H&G, RnB & Bashment, we played in all the venues bringing new artist/sounds & DJs with us along the way, too much to list, trust me.

We helped some of the top presenters/sound systems especially radio dj's,BIG UP THOSE WHO KNOW WE HELPED THEM, THAT SHOW EVEN A LITTLE BIT OF GRATITUDE.

In 2001 I was very privileged to be scouted by Levis Jeans Company to do my European tours for 10 months wearing nothing but Levis, that was good. Big up A3 & LP who took care of business while I was away. Returning to Beat after the tours I was flying every month doing various projects, travelling & entertaining worldwide and at home, working alongside most major & independent labels & producers to promote music in our versatile & notable manner.

2002 another member joined the team, Miss Money Penny, then in 2003 I left Beat FM to concentrate on community projects and also to build my studio HLFE & the PR company called UK Direct. In 2004 winter I went back on to radio (Unique Radio.org).

Along our musical journeys we met & worked with, and also interviewed a vast amount of artist from Alton Ellis RIP, Mickey Spice, Kelly Price to DMX, Elephant man to Yellowman, Brigadier Jerry the list is crazy. We have the vibes, the flow & most importantly we have the MUSIC ....LOL...... We love music of all genres... Concentrating on the UK scene for over 10yrs, UK Direct can honestly say that we are definitely making a difference on the way the UK scene is accepted & promoted.

Dedicating our time & resources to promoting UK on the radio & in the clubs is our main objective.
