I grew up in West London and got my first chance to play a big sound in 1977 at Notting Hill Carnival courtesy of Daddy Vego (Peoples Sound) at the tender age of 12.

I stayed with Peoples Sound for about 11 years until I started DJ-ing for One Love Sound with Manager Steve and then started to play with the sound across the UK.

In 1991 I recorded a song with Mr John McLean (Runaround Girl) which went to No2 in the Reggae charts.

I toured the UK and Europe as a support artist for Makka B.
I also performed at the Reggae Awards 1993 at the Royal Albert Hall.

Although I am still part of the One Love Family, with Manager Steve’s help I have also launched myself as a solo DJ and still play all over the country.

So with 34 years in the industry I feel like a veteran!

Music has been good to me.
