Biography | 
First started playing music around the age of 10, that was when I used to play at parties for my father. After gaining a interest in playing music, at the age of 16 I linked up with school friends to form
V-Rocket Sound. I was with V-rocket sound for about 5 years until I decided to move on to start playing music for a sound called Clifton Sounds. I Played with Cliftons sounds until 1995, then decided to form my own sound. Ghetto Jam was formed by another sound members Vengjah younger brother and eldest son Wayne Irie.
When we first started playing out, we were given a slot on the local radio station every Friday night.
The radio station was called Heatwave Fm which was a popular urban music radio station in the 90’s.
As years went on Ghetto Jam became very popular throughout the Nottingham and Midlands area, performing at local spots such as Marcus Gravey, Acna centre and Edge nightclub.
Ghetto Jam was the in sound for reggae and bashment music in Nottingham. When Heatwave came to a end in the year 2000 Ghetto Jam switched to the new radio station UniqueRadio.
