Biography | 
Nottingham based Mikey Dread aka the Reggae Postman has been on the music scene since 1993.
He first began playing at local parties and community events before becoming a regular feature on a local radio station in Nottingham.
A promoter as well as a DJ his company Reggae Postman Promotions specialises in reggae but also plays Soca, R&B and Soul. Founder member of the Ghetto Rebel Sound System his love for music has seen him playing up and down the country and wider in his home town of Jamaica. For Mikey his passion for music goes beyond sheer entertainment it provides an escape from the grey concrete jungle of the UK and propels him back to his boyhood days of country living.
In addition to his musical interests he enjoys assembling computers in his spare time and being a devoted father
