Biography | 
Dj Ali was born and breed in the North West London, He first started collecting music way back in the 80s from everything from reggae, pop, and soul, His musical knowledge spread throughout the close knit community of North West London, And was asked to join Studio Express 625 as there R&B, Soul selector The Sound grew from strength to strength and quickly found they were playing all over the country and eventually around the globe playing in far thrown locations including the St Lucia Jazz Festival , With The Popularity of the sound growing Dj Ali was approached by a number of community radio stations and spent time on various stations including Girls Fm, Irie Fm , Skyline Radio, and Most recently on Bang Radio Fm.
DJ Ali was one of the original members of the Sony Street Team this gave him access to various artists and he has interviewed a host of people including Jagged Edge, Tyreese, Alicia Keys, Jill Scott, Lemar just to name a fe,. Dj Ali is no stranger to Unique and he returns after being away for over a year to Present Smooth Sailing Every Thursday where he tucks you into bed from 10pm till Midnight Where he goes back and Forward in time through out the show Playing Rare Grooves, Classic soul and some of the freshest independent soul and Mainstream Slow Jams on the Planet , So tune in don’t be left off the boat
